Last night I was treated to a fabulous happy hour and an inspirational Sara Bareilles concert. My daughters were responsible for this amazing love gift. There was no particular reason for it, just the sheer fun of being together and enjoying music and food. I love concerts, but only after I'm there, with all the delicious, magical enthusiasm, do I remember how much I love them.....a lot. Why do I not treat myself to this more often? I could plan for at least one concert a year to look forward to. I could delight in the knowing that I will be getting to choose from all the great groups that come to the area. Or... I could just expect that my girls will do it! Thank you Sara and Aris, for knowing me even better than I know myself sometimes. Cheers to having supportive, enthusiastic, fully engaged in life and love women best friends as my children. Best Tuesday evening of my life!
